nukes is an american-born brazilian-ghanaian digital artist and video game developer. they are a 2024 cum laude graduate of the university of cincinnati's college of design, architecture, art, and planning (daap), obtaining a bachelors in fine arts with a concentration in video game development, digital art, and animation. she has exhibited her work not only within daap, but also in the 2022 game devs of color expo and various curated steam sales.

nukes has been featured in cincy inno's inno under 25 and daap's featured new graduates of 2024, and was awarded the segd daap honorable mention award for their thesis game, kurou connect.

currently, nukes is exploring diverse relationships, the idyllic midwestern mundane, and accessible play through video games, particularly with her games cryptid coffeehouse and kurou connect.
